La Tablita in Hyatt Regency Creek
Mexican food is my weakness, and I hadn’t been able to find AMAZING Mexican food in Dubai until the other night. On a Wednesday night, my husband and I hit up the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek and were pleasantly surprised to find La Tablita to fill our desire for some tacos.

We ordered ALOT of food, and EVERY LAST THING was incredible.
Here’s what we had– and my thoughts on each–
Drinks:
Horrchata– WOW, my first time having this perfectly sweet cinnamon goodness.
Chili Tamarind– soooo different than any drink I’ve had. Sour and spicy from the chili spice mix around the cup edge and blended out well with the tamarind.
For STARTERS:
Tuna Ceviche– best I’ve ever had– perfectly sour and sweet.
Guacamole– great portion size for 2 people, chips were also freshly made and yum.
The TACOS– at a very affordable 12 aed each, we ordered a bunch:
Duck Tacos– Didn’t try, but my husband said they were DIVINE.
Braised Beef Tacos– high quality meat melts in your mouth– oh-so-good and def my fav thing that night.
Arrachera Beef Tacos– also high quality meat that is perfectly cooked–recommended for steak taco lovers.
Breaded Fish Tacos– JUST WOW. perfect amount of sour and freshness topped it for a perfect bite.

For MAINs:
Queso Fundido– a cheesy dish– good but could have lived without it.
Tostadas de tinga– shredded chicken and cheese over fresh nachos– YUMMMM!
Steak– perfectly cooked with a side of REAL Mexican rice that was delish.
Chicken Fajitas- sooo yummy, but I was toooo full to really enjoy, so took it home and had this for lunch the next day, and it was still SO FLAVORFUL!

Dessert:
Tres Leches– WOW, topped with sauteed jalapenos and Vanilla Jalapeno ice cream– this was a DEFINITE MUST HAVE for dessert!
Overall, we will def go back and probably just order TACOS, GUAC and some Ceviche next time as that was our favs from the night!
