Day 1 of Shooting with Langston Hues in DUBAI!
Langston Hues arrived in Dubai on Feb 26th. The very next day, Melanie from Haute Hijab, Langston and I hit the streets of Dubai to shoot for his upcoming book titled MODEST STREET FASHION.
It was a great day, the birds were chirping– the sun was shining, and the beautiful Creek’s waters filled the air with that fresh water’s scent. We walked along the Creek and up to the BUR DUBAI OLD SOUK which was the backdrop for many of the shots.
It was fun to watch Langston in action. He walked up each street searching for colors that inspired him, and interesting alleyways to shoot in. For me, he found a grungy alley that stood between a street cafe and a storage facility.
